Apocotia (Ah-pok-oh-tee-uh) What it means
I’ve been lucky enough to have an amazing Mexican heritage, where earth derived mixtures were used to nurture our skin and have been passed on from one generation to the next.
Apocotia is the Spanish phrase for “Really Auntie?” It was my first response when my Tia Delia shared a story of how my Abuelito applied an earth derived mixture to his bum to rid himself of hemorrhoids. He bragged that it was a miracle mixture that even erased the wrinkles in that area. With such a claim, I had to test this mixture (on my face) and that is when Apocotia was born.*

Secrets of our Ancestors
Ancient recipes without preservatives or chemically modified ingredients were used to cleanse and feed our skin. By this very method, Apocotia offers truly un-adultered skin care straight from the source without adding unnecessary ingredients for product longevity. Our line is made in small batches and made-to-order to preserve the true nature of the ingredients. None of our products are stored in warehouses waiting to be ordered. For this reason, shipping times are longer than normal as we only make what we and our clients need. Only non perishable items are offered for quick shipments.
